I have two pieces for this show. The first, In the Birchwoods, was a lot of fun to make - mostly by smooshing and smearing oil paint on wood using junkmail.

I'll get a picture of the other one up soon.
The opening is at the Art House, July 15, 2005, 7:00 PM - 10 PM.
So Melissa came to town to visit in June, and Liz' found object art workshop seemed like a fun thing to do. It was fun, despite the torrents of rain that decided to fall right when we went out to forage. Our found objects included bottle caps and beer cans, broken car window glass, a robin's egg shell, an asphault shingle, cardboard, a license plate frame, etc. to which glue, paint, chalk and feathers were applied.
